Roundtable on 14th Amendment Attacks
1901 L Street, NW
Suite 300
Washington, DC 20036
Participants may also join via phone and web. Details available after RSVP.
Women who immigrate to the United States are the backbone of our communities and of their families. However, lawmakers are attempting to unravel citizenship laws by stigmatizing women and families. NCIWR is the only national coalition established to specifically focus on gender issues in this public debate. Like all women in our society, immigrant women deserve equality, dignity, and human rights. We are working to elevate women’s voices and push back against dehumanizing rhetoric and attacks on immigrant women and their families.
In honor of Women’s History Month, the National Coalition for Immigrant Women’s Rights invites you to join us for a conversation where we explore the intersections of immigration, worker’s rights, environmental justice, reproductive justice, and human rights to build a vision for a better tomorrow.
The discussion will be "talk show" style with participants both in person, via conference call and through live chat/streaming webfeed.
