Where:

It's virtual (on the phone)! So bring your cafecito (coffee), and we will provide the call-in information, upon registration. Please click here to register.

*Please note: This Cafecito will also be facilitated in Spanish at 2pm.

Latinas and Cervical Cancer: Cuídate. Ármate. Edúcate.

What: A virtual cafecito (informal discussion over coffee) to discuss Latinas and cervical cancer hosted by the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health with guest speaker Dr. Mildred R. Chernofsky.

Why: January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month and the incidence of cervical cancer for Latina women in the United States is highest amongst all racial/ethnic groups, almost twice as high as non-Latina white women. Latinas’ limited access to adequate cervical cancer screenings is a result of barriers to access. Join us to learn about how to prevent cervical cancer.
