--Abortion poll among registered Latino voters in Florida: A new poll released Thursday by the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH) shows 82 percent of Latino voters in Florida support a woman’s right to access abortion, even if they don’t agree with her reasons. The statewide survey, conducted between August 26 and September 21, polled more than 600 registered Latino men and women voters. Sixty-nine percent said they tend to pay attention to a candidate’s views on a woman’s right to abortion, and 56 percent said they could personally envision a scenario in which abortion could be the right choice for them or a partner. Two thirds of those surveyed said they don’t want to see Roe v. Wade overturned, compared to 67 percent of the Latino electorate nationwide. http://bit.ly/2fjYKnl
