Samantha Herrera

Samantha Herrera serves as a Field Coordinator for the Texas RAL.   In her role, Samantha organizes to raise the voices of Latinas in Texas on issues that impact their lives, women’s health care and other social justice issues through grassroots advocacy.  Samantha is a resident of the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Samantha is also a recipient of the Sargent Shriver Youth Warriors Against Poverty  Award.

Paula Saldana

Paula Saldana serves as a Field Coordinator for Texas RAL.  She works with her team to organize the Latino women and men to raise their voices in Texas. Paula has many years of experience in community/political organizing, and a commitment to reproductive health and rights and/or social justice issues. She is an active member of the South Texas Promotora Association. She is also a Leader with the Latina National Institute, Red de Abogacía.

Nancy Cardenas

Nancy Cardenas is the Texas LAN Associate Director for State Policy and Advocacy at the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH). As the Associate Director for State Policy and Advocacy, Nancy’s work focuses on the development and execution of NLIRH’s advocacy and organizing strategies state-wide.  Specifically, Nancy’s work focuses on the protection of reproductive health and rights of Latinas, specifically the Rio Grande Valley, and the Texas state policy agenda recognizing the intersection of immigration and reproductive healthcare.

Dinorah Martinez serves as the Education Manager  for the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, where she is responsible for building the base of activists willing to take action on issues, developing community leadership, building relationships with key local, state and national stakeholders, and advancing civic engagement strategies.
