Miriam Zoila Pérez
At NLIRH, Miriam manages the website and online Instantes newsletter, NLIRH's blog and online action alerts.
Miriam works as a consultant for NLIRH and other social justice non-profits, focusing on online communications. Her work includes website management, blog development and editing as well as email marketing and social media strategy.
She is the founder of Radical Doula, a blog that covers the intersections of birth activism and social justice from a doula’s perspective. You might also know her from her work at Feministing.com, where she is an Editor. Her writing has appeared in Bitch Magazine, The Nation, RH Reality Check, Alternet and The American Prospect. Miriam’s work has appeared in a number of anthologies, including Click: When We Knew We Were Feminists and Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and A World Without Rape.
Miriam is a member of the Board of Directors of the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice. In 2009 she was named one of the Women’s Information Network’s (WIN) Young Women of Achievement.
