Stephanie Rodriguez is responsible for managing and overseeing all the administrative needs of both our New York and Washington, DC offices. She also provides support to the Development Department.
Stephanie has held many leadership positions in student organizations such as Latinos Unidos Con Honor y Amistad, Bella Quisqueya, Hispanic Scholarship Chapter at NYU, and Herencia Latina planning committee. Through her campus involvement, she has been able to engage the community directly through activism and humanitarian works. She has also been involved in international service projects through ProWorld. She has had the opportunity to travel to Cusco, Peru to build clean burning stoves and work on reforestation in the community as well as Oaxaca, Mexico to build an elementary school. Through her works she has received notable prizes such as NYU's Presidential Service Award, and the NIA award.
Stephanie was previously an NLIRH Policy Intern, which provided her insight into the disparities women have as it relates to their reproductive health care access. Prior to that, she interned with Congressman Xavier Becerra through the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute where she focused on Latino outreach. Her dedication to service and community has pushed Stephanie to become a role model and a motivation to other aspiring Latin@ youth.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Middle Eastern studies and Public Policy.
