Executive Director

Jessica González-Rojas is the Executive Director at the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, the only national reproductive justice organization that specifically works to advance reproductive health and rights for Latinas.  Jessica spearheads the research, field organizing, and advocacy operations in the New York headquarters as well as the Washington DC policy office, and is a national spokesperson and leading national advocate for Latinas.  She has been a member of the strategic management team at NLIRH for five years, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the organization as a leading voice for Latinas in national policy discussions in Washington DC and in targeted states, and where she forged new partnerships with allied movements such as immigration, sexual health and rights, and anti-violence.

Deputy Director

Maria Elena is a member of the organization’s senior leadership team and has administrative oversight of organizational operations, including human resources and financial management, and works with senior staff to ensure program alignment.

Elizabeth is a member of the organization's senior leadership team and is responsible for advancing the Institute’s policy agenda and legislative priorities, managing the Washington, D.C. office and for directing NLIRH’s dynamic policy team.

Policy Research Specialist

At NLIRH Verónica conducts research and analysis of national policy that affects the sexual and reproductive health and rights of Latinas, as well as writing and speaking about these issues.

National Field Organizer

At NLIRH, Stephanie is in charge of supporting, fostering and cultivating the development of Latina Advocacy Networks (LAN) located in different states around the nation. She also identifies, builds, and develops a diverse group of Latina leaders and activists to organize around Reproductive Justice issues at a local, state, and national level.

Operations Manager

Stephanie Rodriguez is responsible for managing and overseeing all the administrative needs of both our New York and Washington, DC offices. She also provides support to the Development Department.

At NLIRH Kimberly conducts legislative analysis and evaluates public policy on matters related to our three program areas, as well as responding to policymakers' requests for information and assistance.

Fellows

Reproductive Justice Public Policy Fellow

Natalie D. Camastra is thrilled to join the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health as the Reproductive Justice Public Policy Fellow. Natalie became involved in social justice activism as an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied International Political Economy.  As President of the Berkeley Chapter of the National Organization for Women, she spearheaded efforts to decrease sexual assault and rape on campus by organizing innovative educational events and changing campus policies.

Community Mobilization Fellow

At NLIRH, Rosario supports the Community Mobilization department which focuses on increasing and supporting Latina involvement in the movement towards reproductive justice through Latinas Organizing for Leadership and Advocacy (LOLA) Trainings, and Latina Advocacy Networks (LANs).

Anjela’s research and other work at NLIRH focus on analyzing immigration policies that disproportionately affect Latina health and promoting policies to help eliminate health disparities.
